11 Days from Marrakech to Fes

Day 1: Arrival at Marrakech Airport

Your local tour guide will meet with you and then accompany you to your hotel (depending on the arrival time). Dinner and accommodation. 

Day 2: Marrakech visit the city

day dedicated to the visit of Marrakech, the imperial city of the South. You will visit the Koutoubia mosque and admire its tower, the Majorelle Garden, a botanical garden with varied plants, the Saadian Tombs of the 16th century; all decorated with colorful mosaics, the Bahia Palace of the 19th century with its beautiful architecture. We will make a break for lunch. In the afternoon, you will have time to explore the fascinating souks and alleys around the Djemaa el-Fna square. In the afternoon, you can enjoy the snake charmers, singers, acrobats, dancers, storytellers and storytellers – move from one group to another. Enjoy your dinner and spend the night in a hotel or Riad

Day 3: Marrakech – Tizi -n-Tichka – Ait Benhaddou – Ouarzazate – Dades Valley/Gorges night in hotel,

We will pick up you from your hotel/riad/ bus station the we will start our journey from Marrakech to Dades Gorges. Across the Tizi-n-Tichka Atlas pass, with far-reaching views across the mountains, to the traditional High Atlas Berber village of Telouet and we continue to Ait Benhaddou to visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ait Benhaddou, a spectacular fortified village (Ksour).you’ll take your lunch at Ait benhaddou or ouarzazate and continue to Dades valley, we well spend the night in a riad/hotel in dades gorges.

 Day 4: Dades Gorges – Tenghir – Todra Gorges – Tinjdad – Erfoud – Merzouga( cameltrekking & Night in desert camp)

Breakfast at the hotel. Depart to the Todra Gorge: a massive fault, rising to 300 m in a narrow valley thickstudded with palmeries and Berber Villages. After lunch in the gorge, get transported further into the desert to Merzouga, stops along the great sand dunes of Erg Chebbi where you will take a camel ride (about one hour and a half) in order to get to your Bivouac Tent. (Toilet facilities at the camp.)

Day 5:Merzouga Desert Tour 4X4 And Camel Ride

Today we explore Merzouga desert by 4×4. We will visit musicians in Khamlia village, we explore Erg Chebbi dunes. Then we drive to Rissani and we visit local souk. We return back to Merzouga, from where we prepare for camel ride into the desert camp in Erg Chebbi desert. In Merzouga desert camp we will spend the night in a desert tent. We enjoy our stay with drum music and tasty dinner in the middle of the Merzouga desert in Morocco

Day 6: Merzouga – Rissani – Erfoud – Er-Rachidia – Gorges of the Ziz – Midelt

In the morning we will go to Rissani, we will make a small visit to Zawiya Moulay Ali ash-Sharif and you can also explore the Souk (local market) with the opportunity to see the fondouks where the donkeys meet. We will continue our journey towards Errachidia passing through Erfoud. Our next stop is the panoramic view of the oasis of Aoufous. Further on, we will pass through Errachidia, known as the military city, due to its numerous garrisons. We can stop at the Hassan Adakhil dam to take pictures. Next to the side of the river Ziz, you can enjoy the beautiful scenes of the Ksours and the gorges of the Ziz, pass through the Legionnaire’s Tunnel (Zaabal). The trip will continue through the Middle Atlas, cross the pass of Tizi N’Talghom (1907m). They will arrive at Midelt where they will spend the night in the hotel. 

Day 7: Midelt – Azrou – Meknes

After breakfast, you will enjoy the wonderful views of the Jebel Aachi mountain with the snow-covered peaks. We will leave Midelt towards Azrou, where they will have lunch and explore this Berber city. Later, you will have the opportunity to see the old tree (800 years called Cedre Gouraud) and see the monkeys in the cedar forest. From here we will go to Meknes to visit the Roman ruins of Volubilis the most important archaeological site in Morocco. After continuation  Meknes it was the capital of Morocco under the reign of Moulay Ismail then you will spend night in your accommodation in Meknes

Day 8: Meknes – Chefchaouen

In the morning after breakfast, we will travel to towards Ouezzane through the mountains of the Rif, while admiring the views of the fertile plains of olive trees. In Chefchaouen, you will admire this mountainous city, where you will dine and spend the night in the hotel

Day 9: Chefchaouen – Fes

Today we drive from Chefchaouen to Fes , which is most important cultural city in Morocco. Here we spend the night in a Riad / kasbah with dinner and breakfast

Day 10: Fes guided tour

Today we explroe Fes , which is most important cultural city in Morocco. We will visit Koranic school, tanneries and we explore medina in Fes. Fez was the capital of modern Morocco until 1925. The city has two old medina quarters, the larger of which is Fes el Bali. It is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is believed to be one of the world’s largest car-free urban areas. University of al-Qarawiyyin, founded in 859, is the oldest continuously functioning madrasa in the world. The city has been called the “Mecca of the West” and the “Athens of Africa”.We spend the night in a riad / kasbah with dinner and breakfast

Day 10: Fes guided tour

Day 11 : Fes to Airport

Today we drive from your Accommodation of Fes to Airport. We drop you off at your hotel or airport and our private Morocco tour finishes..
